Went through everything this weekend and came up with these five as my top plays.

Colorado St - 1 1/2
Wisconsin -3
Mizzou - 3 1/2
Miami Oh +11
Fresno +21 (bought hook)

To be honest all of these games look too easy to me so that scares me but I would be surprised if these dont net at least a 3-2 day.

I played them all for 5% of my BR.

good luck guys:D

JMAC- thanks for the props, I definitely do better in hockey than any other sport and once hockey season starts I only focus on hockey and dont play much football. But I spend a lot of time in August and September capping football and I have done allright when I put the time in. I only post my picks when I feel I have put more than enought time in rearching the games/teams I wager on.

Good luck to you- Hope you make it over to the Penalty Box in October.:D

Chenker,

Can you tell me your thoughts on the Fresno v UT game? I was orginally all over that game and was loving it too. I thought that 21 was waaaaaaay to many points. However, what is the deal with the QB situation? Is the backup who is starting, is he any good? That is what scares me away from this game.

Thanks in advance and you have some good picks there.

Chenker -- Love Wisky and like CSU a lot too. But you're right, they do seem very easy. Can't let it psyche you out though.

bama-

Grady was penciled in as the starter prior to last year's opener and got hurt which opened up the door for Pinegar who ironically is now hurt.

Berrian is the real deal at WR and Davis is a stud at RB. D looks solid as well even though they have to replace Burley on the Dline. Only question mark I see is their O-line.

Bottom line is I think there is a lot of pressure on Tennesee to come out strong to make up for last years poor season and I think they may be a little tight. Fresno has proved that they can play with the big boys on the road the last few years and I think they will be able to exploit Tenn's biggest weakness IMO their DB's with Berrian. I dont think there is a big drop off between Pinegar and Grady at QB. I actually thought the line would have been 14 not 21- Anything can happen but If Fresno doesnt turn it over a lot I think they get the cover.

good luck:D

Agree with you on Wisconsin

Agree with you on Wisconsin

0-0-0 College TY

Wisconsin - 3 over West Virginia
Badgers have a solid QB in Sorgi (started 5 Gs for them over L3Y), a good RB in Anthony Davis, WR Evans, a veteran team, a winning coach, and its eye on the Rose Bowl. They return 9 D starters, and are 3-1 ATS last 5 road openers. WV is good, too, with a decent HC in Rodriguez, a fine QB in Marshall, who can work that spread O, but must replace 3 OL, and they may require a few games to get their timing/assignments down...and go against a tough Wiscy DL. WV with only 4 returning on D, and note on the DL. I'll lay the small number. (Only misgiving: Kirk Herbstreit picks Wiscy to win the Big Ten...and he has represented the "beso de muerto" to many a pick).

Other Picks:
Mia-Oh +
Rice +
Miss St +

really like this one-

Penn St. 1st half -13 1/2 -120

Paterno wants to play up to five rbs today- he also wants to play a lot of people on both of the lines. I expect them to try to take a commanding lead at the half so they can play a lot of people in the 2nd half- Mills should have a field day against Temples DBs and Penn State has blown out the last two spread offense teams they played- La Tech and Northwestern
