1) oklahoma
2) miami
3) southern cal
4) georgia
5) ohio state

thats honestly how i see it right now. the "so and so beat so and so who lost to this team" doesnt fly with me. these are the 5 best teams in the country right now imo.


sounds crazy, but southern cal seriously is a top 5 team. theyre solid in all areas and theyre well coached. and theyre hitting on all cylinders right now. okie definitely the best team in the nation right now. wazzou nowhere near my top 5 because, well- theyre nowhere near a top 5 team. iowa coulda made the cut- but i dont think theyd beat any of those 5 above.

i don`t know shit,honestly....what i do know is boxing....i been bangin` the hell outta` the new lines olympic has been putting up...i`ve followed it since my police athletic league days(way back when)...olympic is even putting obscure bouts up and thats what i look for.... i`m fairly familiar with a couple writers and know a few guys in the b`more area that know their stuff....gman,you put me to shame in football knowledge and i appreciate discussing this stuff with you because we can disagree without anybody getting their panties in a bunch....i look for your posts and respond because you make me think and have saved me from investing in a few stupid wagers ...keep doin` what your doin`,bud...it`s helpful...g.l...

If you are strictly going by this season then your poll is pretty accurate, although Okie's offense is rather questionable to rank 1. If the NCAA sacked up and brought forth a playoff system then I would rank the tams as far as being the favorite to win it all:
