Hi folks,
As you can see I try to stay out of the NFL forum unless I have something that fits one of my situational criteria or system that I rely on.

I'm a huge Viking fan, been that way since the Purple People Eaters and Fran Tarkington was running the show. I'm very excited for the new stadium and wish I was there to christen the venue. It should be rocking.

Unfortunately, my title is the opposite of where my money is going tonight. There are too many intangibles leaning the Packs way for me to pass this up. While I love my Vikes, I love my pocketbook more.

10 Units played on the Packers - 1'.......There isn't anything earth shattering about this play, however, if QB S Hill was still the starter I would be laying off. As it stands, I simply can't back the Vikings starting Bradford. There is bound to be rust, timing, some confusion, etc, to the offense. Peterson can't be relied upon to carry the load as the Pack will most assuredly stack the box and dare Bradford. The Defense won't score Tds like last week, and I think Zimmer is making a mistake starting Bradford tonight.

Rodgers is a wily vet that has played and won in some very hostile stadiums over the years. The crowd noise won't bother him. The team is relatively healthy and when the O is clicking they could easily score 3-4 Tds which IMO is too much for Bradford and Co to match.

I really like Minnesotas D this year, however, if there is too many 3 and outs that will equal a very tired Defense and Rodgers will audible controlling the LOS.

If I'm wrong and lose this healthy bet it will sting a little, but if I'm going to lose this is the won I would be OK with. Sadly, I don't think that will be the case...

Good luck folks... Rraff

Well I was wrong and I certainly apologize if I steered anyone in that direction. Our Defense played way better than I anticipated. Even though I kinda felt like some sort of destiny was repeating on that last Green Bay drive. Rodgers throwing up a Hail Mary would've been typical. It was that way when he played at Pleasant Valley High school in Chico. His Senior year President traveled to Grant High in Sacramento (they had this kid at RB (name escapes me now)... He ended up going to Oregon and was a stand out. Grant was favored in that game, but Rodgers single handily matched to for TD. When the clock finally ended the score was 56-54...awesome High school game.

God I hate starting out - 11 units.... But we will get it back.

hard to overcome

- Mike McCarthy?s third-quarter decision to pass up a short field-goal attempt. Aaron Rodgers? two turnovers in the last seven minutes.

your presence is welcomed and I would have bet the Packers too. this win told me the Vikings are better and the Packers well just aren't a Jordy nelson away. I will say the Packers defense is better than I thought and the Vikings offensive line is bad bad bad. I'm glad I drafted McKinnon in all fantasy leagues this year as.im afraid AP will be lost for a while and to be honest I think we are better off without him. I'm not saying McKinnon is better I think we lose predictably and can have a better more diverse game plan.
