I will keep my plays for the WS in this thread.

Series play: Boston -130 (2 units) Just feel the home field, momentum and offensive spurts will help, this series won't go 4 games like in 2004, should go 5-7 games, have Boston winning 4-2. Peavy, Buchholz should be healthy and pumped, Lester calm and collective as usual, edge will be who can win game 4. Home plate umps should be announced today for the series as well as the series rosters.

Peavy really worries me. It is very uncharacteristic of him to pitch as poorly as he did in his last appearance. Could not find the plate and velocity was down so he was throwing only breaking balls. I hope Harrell has him on a very, very short leash. I think he is the wild card in this series. If the Sox win his start, they will be in good shape. Good luck, Bill!

I'm done and waiting on the series finale!! I have Boston for 2 units, it's 1-1 with 3 in STL next up. Red Sox need to take 2 of 3 in ST Louie, no DH, will be tough road stretch, cooler weather, and best of ST L starters are done until game 5 & 6!!

World Series back on, lol! I really feel the Birds have a decided edge in game #3. If, Peavy continues to pitch, as he has been, in his last five starts. The wild card is the Lynn start-a Doubrant sighting could be a unexpected edge for Boston! You never are quite sure what Lynn is going to show! In game #5-I believe Wainright will be back on form and the scrutiny Lester will have to deal with could be tough! A lot of twists and turns yet to come, lol! I think this is still going to be agreat series!

No worries. Boston will take 2 of 3 in St Louie and this goes back to Bah-sten!!

Game 3:

Peavy -105 (2 units) Peavy jives with DeMuth behind the plate, and if DeMuth calls balls and strikes like usual, this game could go way over the total of 7, played in a chilled air in St Louis. Kelly will have trouble keeping pitches down in the zone. Yeah, Ortiz or Napoli probably won't be in the lineup with no DH in the NL parks, but lineup may also switch around a bit, don't forget Peavy gets to hit and he's not a bad hitter, at least he wasn't with SD.
