Media Matters: Who is Angelo Carusone? Even supporters may not like the answer
By Brian Maloney / June 13th, 2017, 8:48 EDT
First in a series of reports by Melanie Morgan and Brian Maloney
[Editor?s Note: The countdown clock has expired and the curtain swings back. Intimate details of the mysterious men hiding in the shadows of a secretive organization called Media Matters for America are finally being exposed]
Exactly why is Media Matters silencing opposition voices with shady dealings, lies and deceptions?
Why are they using dozens of shell organizations to hide the flow of money from the billionaire leftist donor George Soros, as well as former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton?
Over the coming days, here is a sampling of what will be uncovered and what Media Equalizer publishers Brian Maloney and Melanie Morgan will be reporting:
REVEALED: Media Matters President Angelo S. Carusone
According to the Daily Caller, Carusone (above image), president of Media Matters for America and the principal activist in the Stop Rush campaign, made racist, anti-Semitic comments and disparaged ?trannies? on a dormant blog that he wrote just several years prior to his subsequent liberal activism career.
Archives reveal Carusone?s derogatory remarks about ethnic groups and language to insult ?trannies? and ugly ?gays? that would be considered hate speech by his own organization.
In another October 20, 2005 post, Carusone made an anti-Semitic remark: ?Thanks to my adorable boyfriend (come on, despite his jewry, you KNOW he?s adorable), my interest in Comedy Central?s hit TV show South Park has begun to pick up (again),? he wrote.
Even more peculiar are his decidedly un-progressive views that he?d probably prefer to hide from his liberal supporters.
Thanks to the Wayback Machine, the Internet archive that preserves old web pages, a 2005 update praises the late conservative US Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, calls Nixon ?great? and Reagan one of the top ten presidents of all time:
Yesterday evening on my way home from work I thought about my political affiliation (a few factors during the stay caused this introspection). I find myself in a pickle. Im still a registered Republican and for the time being Im not prepared to change my party affiliation. In many respects and political arenas, I prefer dems or liberals and in others I prefer republicans. I decided to give my top 10 recent public figures (not in preferential order):
1) Antonin Scalia ? Chastise me all you want, but this guy is plain brilliant and absolutley hilarious.
2) Condi ? Good lord is she sassy, smart and I like her politics
3) Bill Clinton ? Cmonnnnnn, whats not to like about him other than his poor management style?
4) McCain ? Hes just that good that I dont even need to say anything else
5) Barack Obama ? Fantastic speaker
6) Nixon ? Silence. Read a book, he was great (aside from the scandal)
7) Reagan ? Its Reagan. I dont think its possible to exclude him from any top 10 list
8 Gore ? I dig him
9) Rummy ? My one aspiriation is to wince like this man.
10) Sen. Byrd ? In his lunacy, we trust.
Given this, how did Carusone manage to secure the top position at one of the far-left?s key organizations? It?s truly baffling.
Coming this week:
? We will report on the Stop Rush effort that was secretly organized by a handful of staffers at Media Matters, as well as the orchestrated moves to professionally and personally destroy Fox News Channel?s Sean Hannity.
? Media Matters President Angelo Carusone thanks a fan who offered to ?blow? him for getting Glenn Beck off the air.
