My favorites were the old MNF crew of Gifford, Cosell and Meridith. Also liked Curt Gowdy, John Madden, Pat Summerall, Jack Buck. As far as current commentators today, I like Jon Gruden. The worst announcers today are Chris Collinsworth and Mike Mayock. Both are chatterboxes, who never shut up.

I think Simms has brain damage. He is way too hard to handle, the way he screws up names, and even which team he's talking about. He stops in the middle of sentences over and over. Trying to figure out how to finish what he's saying. It's sad.
