Nascar 2010 Pool Help....

i know i know... it's been a while..... still watching F1 but have lost track with the Nascar....

My buddy at his garage will be doing a Nascar pool for the whole season and here is the list. I have to pick either 2-3 or 4 drivers from those groups. If any of you guys would be enough helpful to share your picks.... i might return the favor in F1....:0corn :SIB

Group 1 has to have the #48. If you are looking for wins then Kyle would probably be #2 with a constant solid run guy being Gordon.
Group 2 gotta have Martin then I would lean towards Kurt B .Got to go Hamlin with other guy.
Group 3 Kahne is a no brainer in my opinion as he will be strong this year. i think Kenseth bounces back this year as well. Toss up between Vickers and Newman.
Group 4 must have Harvick as he will be back this year. I think you gotta go #88 and Mcmurray with other two.
Group 5 Two has to be Hornish and Ragan.

Sorry I said Kurt B was in a Chevy this year but he is still in a Dodge but I still think he has a good year.
Kahne has switched from a Dodge to a Ford.
Montoya is in a Chevy.
Sadler goes from Dodge to Ford as well.

Group 5 would lean towards Brad K as well.
I would steer clear of Gordon and Kvapil.

The 4th has to be either Speed or Regan Smith.
I would go with Smith.

great line up, although I would have a little concern with Hamlin and his knee :shrug: it's really unkown how that will effect him from FEB to NOV ? I would consider Edwards, and possibly change out McMurray out for Logano?

Yeah you cant go wrong with Carl if you dont go Denny. Carl took a step back last year and wonder if he gets it together this year.
Logano is not a bad choice as well. I just think McMurray's new team will be solid this year.
No wrong choice there as the will finish close to the same in the standings(18-22 area).

With the knee issue on Hamlin then you might lean towards Carl as it would suck if he misses the Chase for some reason then he may opt to have the surgery early if it has been bothering him.
I don't think it will but it is always a possibility.

With Denny's Knee, it's the "Unknown Factor" anything can happen. Be it in the car at the Glen or Poco or something stupid like Carl playing frisbee :mj07: He is a kid, and he is always capable of doing stupid kid stuff....:nono:
