Both Bet365 and OLY have odds up for this race. Airs today on Fox at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Any opinions? I liked Jeff Burton until rain posponed qualifying and he has to start 36th. I'm leaning a bit to Jeff Green or Randy Lajoie.

Matchups at Bet365:
Green -120 over Burton (1 Unit)
K Wallace -120 over Hamilton Jr (2 Units)
Lajoie -110 over Sprague (2 units)

One of us will have a good day......

One of us will have a good day......

Was about to start this thread...I'm glad you did Myron.....I don't play the Busch Series every week, but I did make a few plays today, and we are on the opposite side of a few of them.

ODDS TO WIN:
59 SCompton +1200 1unit
60 GBiffle +1000 1unit
25 BHamilton, Jr. +2000 ?unit

MATCHUPS:
60 Biffle ov 24 Sprague -110 3units
9 JBurton ov 1 Spencer -125 3units
59 Compton ov 92 TBodine -120 3units
59 Compton ov 4 MWallace -160 2units
9 JBurton ov 21 JGreen +120 To win 2 units
25 Hamilton, Jr. ov 48 KWallace +120 To win 2units

Going light. And I really can't wait for the time that bet365 changes their silly software so that you can bet 2units on an underdog instead of making the wagers "to win" 2units. That is just moronic. Anyhow, GLTA with this race.

fwiw huck your plays are almost identical to mine that i played last night except i did not play against green but took him vs keller and chose not to lay the heavy -160 compton vs mwallace but i do like the choice. hopefully it's a case of "great minds think alike" ;)

i also played purvis over parker jr. hopefully the defending champ won't luck out on the fuel mileage gamble again this year.

most of my picks kind of violate one of my rules of matchups which is don't play against solid drivers, but i took them small because of this.

greg biffle could use a new pit crew. his stops were consistently 1.5 to 2 seconds slower than the other leading drivers, which is an eternity in racing. the decision to pit when he was running second with 30 laps to go proved costly.

Not bad huckleberry. FWIW I bet on Spencer over Burton and thought I had it won easy but for some reason Spencer got knocked out (I didn't see what happened exactly). But I did have Green over Keller and Lajoie over Wallace
