Nascar pool opinions needed also

Thanks guys for your time. I'm kind of in the same situation as Dr. Feelgood that I'm new to Nascar and a friend at work has this fanasty/pool he is in. I want to get in also and wanted your guys opinion who to select.

Here are the rules and groups and thanks again for your time.

GROUPS: There are 10 Groups. Pick 1 CAR from each group. Remember you are picking the CAR #, NOT the Driver.
POINTS: There are 43 cars in each race, so FIRST place gets 43 points, second place 42 and so on, last place gets 1 point. We will not award points for "NO POINT" events (races for which drivers do not receive championship points, such as the Bud Shootout and the NASCAR Nextel All-Star Challenge).

BONUS POINTS: The WINNER of the race will get 15 EXTRA points, the POLE WINNER gets 10 EXTRA points and the LAST place car will get 5 EXTRA points. There will be no POLE points for the Daytona 500 as qualifying happens before picks are due.

TRADES: You will be allowed to trade 2 cars after the first 16 races. You will have to place your trades between 06-21-04 and 07-02-04 if you want to trade! There will be NO exceptions.

TIE BREAKER: Pick a score that you think your points will total at the end of the year. This will determine your place in the standings for all money winners at the end of the year. Example: If you are in a tie for 7th place, your tiebreaker points will determine where you will be in the money.

Fritz,

I am by no means an expert but here are my opinions on the groups.

1. #48--by far the best racer in that group with the most upside and had 6 top 5 finishes his last 6 races.

2. #12--Had Harvick written down but forgot about the wins and the poles bonus points.

3. #42--McMurray just keeps getting better. Busch would be Ok here too.

4. #15--At least you get a shot with a couple wins at a restictor plate track with him. The others never win anymore. When in doubt, go with Chevy.

5. #19--Don't you just love the commercial he's in? No seriously think Biffle needs another year or two under his belt.

6. #88--Big bounce back year for him. Everything that could have went wrong for him did last year.

7. #32--consistency---he's consistantly in the middle of the pack...

8. no comment in this group.

9. #25--My pick for rookie of the year.

10. #10--see#4...Chevy + Hendricks motor vs Bill Davis.

I'm sure you know a little more than me cause I know nothing about Nascar(only thing I know is that they make four left turns).

Thanks for your opinion and the research that I've done the last couple of days we came up with 6 of the same drivers.

Fritz whats up have not seen you around for awhile, wish i could help you but not a sport i do much, I do get some good tips but nothing i do same as the ponies. hope all is well have you been doing any races? you can come run for me so i can lose some of this weight i gained since the operations all 8.

i will check my back issues of gamming today the nascar guy mica roberts is really really good . just thought of that i will look at them on sunday and see what i come up with from his notes might help like i said he is very good.
