Nashville will play 3rd game in 4 nites with last 2 back to back, both on road.

Predators upset the Devils last nite and actually have been playing good hockey lately with wins against top clubs like Ottawa, NYR, Chicago and Detroit.

Problem is, Nsh isn't a very good road team and last nite was only their 3rd win on the road in like 13 tries.

My play is against Nashville as I'm expecting a letdown as well as fatigue from a busy schedule. Over 5 is a possibility as well.

Phoenix has beaten SJ twice already this year.

Phoenix 15-5-2 at home
SJ 10-8-4 away

SJ hasn't played well lately going winless in 5 before winning last game against Philly.

Other than Phoenix playing b2b and possibility that Burke sits cuz he played tonight, why the play on SJ? Fill me in, I don't follow these 2 teams much.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Sharks are 5-0 after a win at home.
Phx 2-7 on road after a win.
Under is 6-3-1 last ten meetings.

Esche was in goal for Phx at SJ Dec 30 when Phx defeated SJ 4-2. Playing serious team defense for Esche's 2nd win--like his first.

Rumors of SJ putting Kiprusoff in goal (3-2-1, 2.93 gga) since neither him or Nobokov have had much success against Phx. And Nobokov needs rest.

SJ defeated Phila so well in main due to getting furious after hit and non-penalty on Dampenhousse. That was only win in last 6 games.

SJ is a streaky team. Losing streak over? That's the question. Can it be over a team which has dominated them this season? I'm guessing yes. It's a guess.

WITH BURKE PLAYING LAST NITE AND ESCHE IN GOAL LEADS ME TO SAN JOSE. ALTHOUGH ESCHE PLAYED WELL AGAINST THEM IN HIS ONE AND ONLY VICTORY HE STILL SPORTS AN .886 SAVE PERCENTAGE FACING LESS THAN 180 SHOTS FOR THE SEASON. IT IS THE MIDDLE OF A LONG SEASON AND SAN JOSE IS AT THE TOP FOR GOOD REASON. THEY PLAY SOUND DEFENSIVE MINDED HOCKEY AND WIN AT HOME. KEEP IN MIND DAN JOSE HAS TRADITIONALLY OWNED PHO UNTIL AS OF LATE. MY PLAY IS SAN JOSE MINUS THE HALF PUCK
