What do you think about this? There is a good chance that whatever team wins, a QB will be named MVP as five of the last six have been QBs. This is especially true if the game is as high-scoring as many think it will be.

So my question is this. Tim Tebow is +175 and Sam Bradford +250 to tin the MVP tonight, while Oklahoma is +170 on the ML. Do you think a wager on both players is smarter than trying to guess who will win the game or if Florida will cover the spread?

$100 on each would net a minimum return of $75 providing that one of the two win the MVP. I do not know college football too well, but is there a threat on either team to "backdoor" this award or is it basically a two-man race at this point?

Thanks for any input.

There is the risk of losing 2 wagers.

Risk = gamble.

I used this theory a few SBs ago with Donovan instead of the Eagles ML. One would think that Bradford also applies here but the payout difference is marginally more. ~+.80 at +250 whereas I was getting McNabb at +1.5-2.0 or more. Just some thoughts.
