Navy?

Didn't get the Navy line last week and I don't get it again.

They are getting 7.5 against a team that Temple just ran all over. Temple scored 46 points and had 319 yards rushing. Now they have to face the 4th best rushing offense in the nation that averages almost 300 yards per game.

Navy getting no respect. They are an extremely hard team to prepare for in a week unless you are Air Force or Army. I will gladly take the 7.5 and some ML $$ with one of the best coached teams in the country.

Glad I hit it hard yesterday, already down to 6.5 today.

I see the Michigan line has risen to 24 most places. I will be taking Michigan State at that number. This is Michigan State's season. I expect a big effort. Too many points.

Will also watch Florida State line. I like +4.5 but will see if it gets any higher. I think they win outright so will take as much on ML as I can get.

Look up the Sagarin Ratings and the difference between the 2 team ranks (factoring in 2.5 points for home field) and let me know if the line is still off. It's the starting point for the betting line. Without even checking, I bet it is right on.

I haven't looked at the Sagarin ratings in 20 years. I actually did an experiment many, many years ago playing the games with the biggest variance in their lines. All I will say is that it didn't end well. Over the years I have learned to stay away from technical analysis and trends, especially is College. May work for some, but not for me. I may be wrong but I love Navy +7.5. In my humble opinion this line should be 3.

I agree with your analysis. Navy should be able to put up some points. In actually getting ready to hit the over pretty hard.

Agree Riff. If Navy does lose this game it will be in a shootout. No way S. Florida stops their offense.
