YTD:199-130(60%), +140.10

Great job, by the entire team yesterday keep up the good work....EZ don't worry about the team just take care of the real business. I subscribe to the theory that a starter will not lose his spot due to injury

With both you and Raymond on this game, I need to rethink my position here because I was thinking the other side on this game.

Yep, that pistons one looks awful good, seems like a must win spot for them over a team they already beat by 14 at home earlier this year. And New Jersey had to fight for there lives to hang on in Cleveland to tire out some of there starters. My only concerns would be, not that the pistons did so bad out west but more that there a jump shooting team and at times jump shooting teams have problems when they have to much rest. Also, that nj will have a rested kenyon martin to help keep there energy level up.

Games i was wondering if you have any thoughts about are sea and atl, i wanted to bet sea last night and held off thinking it might go down to 4, then i wake up this morning to find out odom is out and it jumped to 6.5...sigh, and that atl one is bet down to a pick and even though there on a back to back miami has flat quit. They quit from the opening tip up in tor, and atlanta while not being the greatest team does score a ton at home and will probably hit 90-100 a range that miami has no chance to hit. Even on back to backs, atlanta at home scores. Let me know what you think....

good luck

Dnug,

I am going over the clip/sonic game now and will post it when I am finished.

The Heat/Hawks game is a flat out pass for me, I would have liked to play the heat in this spot, but as many people have noticed they just don't lay it on the line anymore, and if they don't care to win, I don't care to bet on them. My numbers have this being close and the number is just about right, so I am passing, but if I had to lay some flow on it the hawks would be the play. Hope this helps,

JT

jt, if you have a moment...

i like DET (o90). looking for opinions you may have to offer. the NJN (o) spot last night was a major disappointment. both teams (CLE & NJN) attempted more shots in regulation than the attempts made in the OT game (DAL & SAN). FG% was a joke both ways. looking for DET to keep the attempts and pace up with NJN tonight. high turnovers and fast break points.

JSMOOTH,...yup...

Guerilla_Ninja,
When I first looked at this game I thought it had Over written all over it and I thought that the pistons would blow them oput so the over 90 would also look sweet, however I am going to pass. The pistons are looking to commit on the defensive side of the ball tonight, and that could slow down the tempo.

Coach Rick Carlisle gathered the Pistons together Christmas evening with the intent of getting them back to basics defensively.

What he wanted the players to remember about the 0-5 West Coast trip was how well they played at times and still lost and how it felt to be blown out for the first time this season in the 28-point pummeling at Seattle in the final game.

"I'm not concerned about missing shots, I'm more concerned about giving up 60 percent field goal shooting and when your rebounding isn't there," Carlisle said as the Pistons began preparing for Thursday's game against New Jersey. "As long as we're getting good shots, I don't have a problem with our offense. But when missed shots affect who we are at the defensive end, then it becomes a problem."

I also think it is actually an advantage for the pistons if they run on a limited basis, because the nets have an excellent transition game. Just a thought and I hope it helps...

For what it's worth dnuggets, I'm with you all the way with Atlanta.
I have them at about -7, so I simply can't understand why the line is going the other way.

I think they will win comfortably, and am a bit surprised no-one else is on them!

Good luck all.

4 units!!! LUV IT!
Cheers JT

inside your head
just got home and about to run out again. won't be around for halftime. just enough time for the customary 4-unit mojo though!!!

i am psyched it is Det, I didn't think I'd get a chance to check into the forum until later tonight and had to make a few plays on my own. one of them was Det and now I must increase the size of this play
wink.gif
. The other two plays I came up with on my own are Bos + 5.5 and Atl/Mia Under 78. So I am aligned with you on 2 out of 3 and not against you on the other (
smile.gif
). gonna just stick with these as there is a busy slate ahead this weekend. i should be around for the late slate of games, but in case I am not and another 4-unit rears it's head, I hope Teddy will be so kind as to step to the line again for me
