I just bet 100.00 on the Nets to win the championship at 90-1....am I crazy or does this seem like a great bet for a team winning their conference....I would like to know what kind of odds your books have on this and whether you like the bet or not...let me know.....thanks

Have you seen the Nets this year? They have good perimeter players but they have no one to defend a talented big man. It's a guaranteed loss.....

I disagree, the East is wide open and the Nets have as good of chance as any. Every team, especially in the East, has a major flaw but there really isn't a dominate big man in the East. And like cavs1234 said, all they have to do is make it to the finals and you bet the hell out of the Lakers', or other West participants', money line. A bet I would make if I was up, one I wouldn't make when I was down. Good luck...

Sigh, can you please name the last team to make the nba finals even without playoff exp., Nj is gone in round 2 at the lastest....if you want to make a bet and make some money lay some cash on mil now there gonna be the number 1 seed as theyve played all there road games out west and nj has not.

Also, nj is a fast break team and a very avg at best half court team, you can score in the half court in the playoffs you go home early. The only guy that plays for them with any real playoff exp is todd m and he barely played, and the other one is kidd who has never started for a team that ever even got out of round 1(yes they did 2 years ago but he was hurt and so was duncan). Milwaukee is the best play imo at 4-1 in the east and i have a lot on them.
