-The Timberwolves used a simple formula of defense + rebounding + protecting the ball to pull off a pair of upsets as a 7.5-point underdog to get past Denver. Of the 16 playoff teams, Minnesota posted the second-best rebounding rate in the first round. As I just mentioned, the T-Wolves closed as a 7.5-point dog in Denver last week, and now they are catching almost 14 points at some books on Sunday night? Are the Spurs 6.5 points better than the Nuggets? If Minnesota can maintain the same formula it used against Denver - defense, rebounding and protect the ball - the T-Wolves can stay within this HUGE number.

Note: I'm putting this wager in overnight as I suspect the line will go down up until game time. Play it early if you like Minny.....
