Playing these NBA games for Saturday:

SACRAMENTO (MONEYLINE +120) vs. DALLAS (BEST BET)
SACRAMENTO +2/ vs. DALLAS (BEST BET)

Note: Getting Kings on ML is a much better value, than laying -110 to pick up 3 points. In a game that should be high scoring, the 2 points is rarely a factor. Picking up +30 in value (difference between laying -110 and getting back +120 makes the ML wager a much better value)

This game may be the strongest play I have seen this season. Anyone that saw the SAC-SANT game Thurs. night watched the Kings get absolutely crushed. The Spurs got every call, every roll of the ball, and every break in the game. It was ridiculous. Despite the final score, the Kings never quit. They played with pride. They were MAD. They were ANGRY. You could see it on their faces. Now, they had a day off to think about that defeat and simmer. I expect the Kings to really be on fire going into Dallas -- a team they will no take for granted. Championship level teams usually rebound strong from humiliations like what happened in San Antonio -- and Sacramento is the type of team that will rise to the occasion. Dallas played a sloppy game much of the way versus Boston last gamed -- and now get the burden of having to bring in three new players from the Nuggets in the trade. This could be an "adjustment" game for the Mavericks. Oh yeah, then there's that little problem Dallas has about playing no defense. THEY DON'T PLAY DEFENSE. I almost forgot. Back to Sacramento -- there is no NBA team that comes back as strongly off a defeat as this team and the facts prove it. In the next game after 11 losses this season, they are 9-2 SU and have won the next game by an average margin of 16 points. Here's the margin of each game after a loss:
vs. LAC -- LOST BY 16?.won next game over PHX by 32
vs. PHX -- LOST BY 27?.lost next game to MINN by 16
vs. MINN -- LOST BY 16?.won next game over MEM by 17
vs. DALL -- LOST BY 6?.won next game over PHILA by 10
vs. MEM -- LOST BY 15?.won next game over HOU by 5
vs. LAL -- LOST BY 8?.won next game over HOU by 36
vs. IND -- LOST BY 12?.lost next game to ORL by 10
vs. ORL -- LOST BY 10?.won next game over MIA by 10
vs. PORT -- LOST BY 6?.won next game over UTAH by 33
vs. NJN -- LOST BY 34?.won next game over BOS by 17
vs. SEA -- LOST BY 10?.won next game by 20 over ATL
This team knows how to rebound after a humiliation, which is just what I expect to happen in Dallas. Note from above that SACRAMENTO REALLY TAKES CONFERENCE LOSSES HARD. The only two consecutive losses were to East teams. WHEN SACRAMENTO LOST TO LAKERS, SEATTLE, PORTLAND, and DALLAS (good West teams) they usually routed the next opponent. This is a very powerful play.

SAN ANTONIO -4 vs. MINNESOTA
Spurs on a home roll right now, with a very favorable line.

Nolan, did you ever start the Bucks post last night? :)

As a fan of them in Milwaukee, they sure are frustrating.

Sorry about the Kings Nolla, I had them, too. I think we had the right side as far as motivation goes. The Kings made a decent attempt at playing defense, however, the Mavs just shot the daylights out of the ball. Peja had an off game and that really hurt. It seems like at least 5 shots for the Kings should have gone in and just rolled out. Blown layups can't help the cause either.
