Weekend here .. . have to go to a party today .. friend's daughter celebrating 1 year .. well the parents are celebrating more than the kiddo i am sure.

Taking:

Starting bankroll: $610
Current bankroll: $728.50

Indiana Pacers -5 for 4%

Have to clean up my room to accomodate the XBOX .. Will put up my reasoning in 1-2 hrs.

I would highly recomment the money management system followed by Thunder. One of the main reasoning being that it instills discipline in your better if you dont have it. I have been guilty on occasions of putting money $$$ on a bet than I should have. But have been following the % way for last few days and have no urge to bet more since I am not looking at the $$$ i am betting but the % I am betting. For example todays bet on Pacers is for $29.14

ooks like party in evening cancelled. Dont know the details but one of my colleagues had called up and informed me that the guy who was having the party for his daughter .. his wife's brother passed away in an accident last night.

I am praying for their family and please do the same for them also.



Indiana -5 Over Detroit

Both these teams have started out strong. Indiana assembled a good team late last year but due to not playing with each other they just got eliminated by Nets in playoffs. Now after some practice they are playing great ball.

Detroit playing well since last playoffs.

Both teams play different style of ball. Detroit relies on its defence where as Indiana has better offence than most teams.

Both teams are unbeaten at home. But on the road its a different story. Detroit is 4-3 on the road.

Couple of points I would like to point out:

1. The biggest + point in this match up is Indiana is playing at home

2. After last nights easy win against Magic the starters are well rested. All 12 players had 10+ minutes in the game yesterday.
Detroit on the other hand had to grind it out and win an ugly one against Miami coming back in the fourth quarter.

3. Indiana unlike other teams is not a total jump shooting team.
Oneal has been playing great inside the paint and so has Harrington. Throw in Brad Miller and you have a good rebounding side.

4. Detroit is a more defensive team. But Indiana has improved in this regards with the addition of Artest who is a very good defender. Having Mercer come off the bench is a great luxury.

5. Austin Crochere came off the IL yesterday and had 9 points and 10 rebounds. This guy has lots of potential and will help in the rotation in case someone is having a bad day.

Dont know how much this has a factor:

On Saturdays Detroit is 1-1 while Indiana is 3-0

Lots of other angles but hopefully this will help anyone whose reading for what its worth.

Dallas Team Total Over 99 1/2 for 4%

I think this is the better bet than playing the Over Total.

Seattle scoring has settled down and have scored in low 80's in the last three games.
Dallas unlike last season has been restricting scoring for the opposition and have been playing defence.

In this season Dallas have scored:

114 Vs Memphis on road
97 Vs Phoenix at home

At home :

97 agianst Phoenix
107 against Golden State
114 against Detroit
82 against Portland
98 against Lakers
103 against Houston

On the road:
114 against Memphis
106 against Toronto
114 against Chicago
103 against Cleveland
97 against Boston
96 against New Jersey <--- back to back on the road

Against teams which like to push the ball Dallas scores a lot of points. They like the fast paced game and do well.

Seattle is not a great defensive minded team and Payton does like to push the ball up the floor.

Lowest output of 82 against Portland .. but Portland can slow everyone down .. I think Dallas will do much better against Seattle.

Also weekend game and usually home team is pumped up more than the weekends. I think Dallas scores around 110 in this one.

One thing I had thought of before placing the bet was this:


If anyone remembers gsp's advice on screwed up lines. I thought this was a screwed up line and as per joe's advice either a no play or play shud have been on other side of obvious


When such screwed up lines come up how come the other team
ALWAYS WINS .. coincidence or fixin .. god knows ..

With Nellie at the controls the Over was automatic .. I had capped 110 points for Dallas but with late fouls Dallas touched 115. The more the merrier.

Second half plays :

Boston Team Total Over 46 Second half *** WINNER ***
I was watching game on TV and the body language of Boston players was enuf to convince me they were gonna play good ball.


New Orleans -3 Second half *** WINNER ***
The game had no business being tied almost @ the half. NO went on a run and won.

Cleveland did go on a 10-2 run in last 3:32 of the game. This is the danger when teams have big lead and are trying to run down the clock instead of running their offence to score more points.
