Tonight Cleveland has the second leg of a tough back-to-back stretch as they travel to Miami to take on the Heat. Last night they took down the defending Eastern Conference champions and they seem to be coming together with their new additions of Shaquille O?Neal, Anthony Parker and Jamario Moon. Other than Lebron James, the key to the Cavs success continues to be Mo Williams. In the Cavs 3 losses this season Williams has shot 4-13, 4-14 and 3-8. Last night in Orlando, Mo Williams was 12-20 shooting and had 28 points. His point total was impressive but the key here is his 20 shots. If Williams continues to knock down jumpers it opens up everything for Lebron, which is a disaster for the opposing team.
Miami is 6-1 on the year with there only loss coming to the Phoenix Suns. Impressive, but lets take a look at there 6 wins. New York, Indiana, Chicago, Washington (2) and Denver. The Nuggets will likely be the only playoff team out of this group. Jermaine O?Neal has been playing better but him and Udonis Haslem will have a very hard time staying out of foul trouble while trying to guard Shaq and Z tonight (much like Dwight Howard last night).
This is an early season battle of two Eastern Conference playoff teams. Miami has the home court but Cleveland has the best player on the court, a stronger inside presence and a deeper bench. Look for Miami to keep this game very close but Cleveland should be too much for the Heat to handle tonight.
RECOMMENDED PLAY: Cleveland +1
