NBA TNT THURSDAY 04082010- Early Thoughts & Value Hunting

Well fellas the season is winding down. This is the last TNT Thursday games we will see for the regular season. I'm looking forward to the playoff match ups and I am eager to start seeing some series prices. Last year was my first making some plays on the series and there are some great plays to be made usually.

Tonight we have some game featuring some teams that have absolutely nothing the play for. The Cavs have even been as bold as to say these last few games are a "high level practice" and they still beat up on the Craptors.

The Lakers on the other hand have acted as if they have nothing to play for. Just as everyone counts them out I think they set the tone for their playoffs tonight with a statement game in Denver. Careful HOMER ALERT

Denver game will either be 10-15 points under or 20 points over. Not touching that total.

I will NEVER take an over involving the Clippers anemic offense.

Jabo - How about sharing your inside info? I also like the LAL play (probably a homer play). LAL needs a statement game. DEN is missing Karl and Kenyon. Add to it Anderson, Billups, and Anthony are banged up, and the LAL should win this game. Here are some trends pointing to a LAL victory or ATS win:

LA LAKERS: 32-18 ATS as an underdog
DENVER: 3-11 ATS with a line of +3 to -3
