Been on a nice little run and picked up where the season left off. I only have my eye on the DET/CLE side. I'm going to run some numbers and will post my play in a few. BOL as always.

I have three plays to look at and they will not be poular.

The Jazz plus the points, it could rise to 14 by tip off.

Under in Clevland I see lots of value here, I think this games plays out on of two ways and both are could for the under and bad for the side.

Portland -6, remember the Alamo. They were kicked in the balls and will bounce back strong.

None of my plays are supported by the public which helps.

Trend Spotter Plays tonight:

3.5 dog variance is 19-14 (Houston fits this)
3.0-3.9 Overs are 7-14 (Rockets Over and LAL Over fits this)

ok, so it looks like we have 2 SU winners tonight. I was also thinking about playing the UTA/LAL over.

single play on UTA/LAL -110/100
parlay with CLE, LAL SU +134/100

value? if either CLE or LAL lose, it's already a bad card since the predictablilty factor is already out the window. has anyone capped either of these 2 teams losing tonight's game? If I were to bet either of these games against a coworker who doesn't know anything about spreads, which team would I pick? why not throw 'em in with the over and get the 34 cents.

just a thought. my play tonight will be on DET/CLE side but still reading.

Locked in HOU/POR for 1 unit. Houston is not shooting 58% once again. If they do, I would fire Mcmillian on the spot for not fronting Yao. Portland's 3 point shooting should improve but not enough to put this over.

Also 1 unit on Utah -11.5, I think Utah figured Lakers out enough to make this a close game, I liked their performance and hustle especially in the second half.

I just like to read. lines don't look like they're going to move. if i were betting overnight lines then it'd be a different story. It's late in the game so no hurry. windows will be open for another few hours. Pistons  Cavs :00hour

Ax,

In my opinion, Cavs (-11) is the play in this spot. Cavs at home, well, enough said there, as they are a fairly dominant team at home regardless of who their opponent is. So lets take a look at Detroit. The Pistons are older, slower, and even though they saved some $$$ are so wishing they had still had their leader in Billups. Iverson completely threw this team out of whack, and even w/o him they're still not that much better. Detroit is lucky to even be in the playoffs, and after tonights dd blowout, they'll only be 2 home games away from vacation, and Dumars can start his plans to blow that team up. Lets go Cavs.

Hey AX what do yout think of Port- 6 this time around, here are the lastest public #

Spread % Over/Under %

Port-6 57% 81% over
Hous 43% 19% under

I'm liking Port- 6 and the under in this game.

The Det/Clev also has some weird numbers

Spread % Over/Under %

Clev - 11.5 73% 80% over
Det 27% 20% under

Rockets!

Rockets!

Greetings guys,
I'm also liking the under on the houston game but i capped it at 182 so i'm a little scared :S
What do you think of Houston +6? I don't see any of the Blazer SGs or SFs scoring a lot of points against the likes of Battier and Artest. The only way to have a chance here is if Aldridge and Blake have good games. Still thinking about it....hmmm

Last game of the regular season b/w these 2 teams was the Pistons' last gasp at trying to beat the Cavaliers; kept it close until the half, then watched as Cleveland methodically pulled away as the 2nd half moved along. It was demoralizing for Detroit and wasn't a positive harbinger as to how this series would unfold.

The Pistons' defense has ebbed since Brown left and their offense is still and stagnant w/o the creativity of Flip Saunders's chalkboard.

The Pistons may keep it close for part of the game, but the Cavaliers are more than capable of steamrolling yet again over Detroit by the end of tonight's contest.

If no way they win, why bet it?

Only thing that scares me about this line is DET hasn't lost by DD to many times this year and only twice back to back...

I couldn't agree w/ you more.

The only thing that pisses me off about this game is that my wife is at w/ clients. Damn I am jealous.

That was my only play today. CLE giving points @1U is a good bet. GLTA

took Clev -3 1/2 1q for a unit

liking anything later? leaning to Hou +6 since they have dominated Port this year, but that home record of Portland scares you that they can lose 2 in a row at home.

Ut/LA over liking as well
