Well, the good news is I did improve yesterday from the day before!!!:) The bad news is instead of 0-4 on Sun. I went 1-3 last night!!!! The strange thing is, the one win was on a total!!!

Overall record: 16-25
Sides: 12-14
Totals: 4-11
doubles: 2-3

I will be looking a lot deeper into these games today to try and turn things around. I will post plays with some brief reasoning as I find them!!!

Sorry, Typo on the pathetic totals record!!!

WASH +1 (triple play)
(may also play UNDER 180 later)

Line was +2- early but dropped quickly to +1.
Phi. is going to be w/o at least 2 of their top 4 scorers and possibly a third!! Thomas(13.2ppg) and Robinson(15.5ppg) are definately out. Coleman(9.4ppg) is a GTD with a strained left knee. The only legitimate scoring threat left is Iverson, and although he is very difficult to stop, he can't do it alone. I look for either Arenas(6'3") or Hughes(6'5") to be in AI's face. The height advantage of either player should make it difficult for AI to get a clean shot. Also, I look for Gilbert Arenas to have a great game. He should respond well to being benched in the third Qtr of the loss to Cle. Coach Eddie Jordan sat and discussed things w/ Arenas and cleared the air. Wash should coast to an easy victory!!!
Prediction: Wash 92- 80 ;)

Mia +10-

Not too much reasoning in this one!! I just think that the spread is a bit high. Last year(02/14/03) Hou was favored over Mia by 11 pts. and Mia won the game by 12!!! Also, this will be the first match-up between head coaches Stan Van Gundy(Mia) and his brother Jeff. I think that Stan will have his players pumped up for this game and if not, I don't see Jeff running up the score on his bro anyway.

LAC PK

Atlanta is playing their 3rd west coast game in 4 nights. The Clippers on the other hand, will be playing their first game since downing Den. Nov. 7. This will also be their first home game this season. I think the fresh legs of the Clippers will wear down the Hawks late in the game and LAC will win their first home opener since Nov. 3,1995!!!!
Also, look for a play against ATL tomorrow @ phx (4 games in five nights on the west coast!!!!)
