9-2 YTD

Looking to continue the nice start of the season I have 4 plays so far for the weekend and three plays I'll be keeping track of in my overall total but which will be recorded on the side.

Texas -13 - Much like FSU last weekend we can take advantage of the books being 3 to 4 points off on the spread in this game. Texas has quietly gone 6-2 ATS since last year and will look to get revenge from a 2000 27-6 loss to the Razorbacks in Brown's first season.

Boise St -21 - I rode the Broncos all last season and we'll continue the trend here. The average margin of victory since '99 for Boise St in this series , all wins and 3-1 ATS, has been 30.5 points.

Rutgers -6 - Words cannot descirbe my feelings for actually going with Rutgers football for a third straight week but the numbers speak for themselves. 2-0 ATS, actually having a lead last weekend at Michigan State and a 44-0 thrashing of Army last year. GO SCARLET KNIGHTS! ... at least for another week

Teaser - GaTech+30/UConn+10.5 - Last weekend FSU was not getting enough respect and this week they are getting too much. This is a dangerous GTech team which has played FSU close the last 4 years with 11 points being the greatest margin of victory in 2001. I'll proably do another bet on GaTech by themselves but I love them getting the 6 points in this game.
UConn has become everyone's darling with their impressive ATS record carrying over from last year. That is one reason that I like getting the extra points in this spot as I could see them pulling out the upset outright. Solid rare teaser for me.

3N3 record 0-0

There is a great trend of going against teams playing in their 3rd straight road game which has hit for over 61% I'll be tracking and playing these teams all year and will include them in my overall record. The teams that fall into this criteria this week are:

Troy State, Washington State and Utah State

Take: UAB -10, ASU -25 (line may drop here) and Colorado -5

If you are even going to think about playing any of these picks you must play all 3 for the percentages to even out. Looking to go 2-1 for the first weekend.

Good luck!
