Be careful of the Big XII this time of the year.

Widely considered the best conference going into the bowl season the last three years, they are just 5-11 as favorites in that span.

I think Texas Tech's the wrong side. Clemson's pass D is solid and should be able to slow Tech's pass-oriented offense, which has has had little success on the road against decent pass defenses in Iowa St, Colo, and Oklahoma. Tech did get some passing yards at Ohio St, but most of those came after the game was out of hand. The Tech defense is subpar, allowing 5.7 yards per play. Clemson should score a bunch of points. Also some nice bowl angles pointing to Clemson here.
