Note: That Armstrong Men's Team was one of the best DII men's tennis teams ever. They would easily be Top 20 if they were DI, maybe even top 10.

kickserv never won a team title, was very close one year but it didn't happen. Oh how I wish I was one of those athletes above.

Kick - I played against Earnshaw's several times and this is by far the best DII men's tennis team since Lander back in the later '90s. If you remember, Georgia made the mistake of taking on Lander the year after both won championships, and Lander beat that ass.

My best team was in "04, and we lost to Barry in the Regional Finals, but I had a frosh from Canada who went undefeated that year. He had great wins over Lynn, Florida Southern twice, North Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast. You probably know of him - he transferred to Brown after I left.

This years Armstrong team may be better then any of the Lander teams, the Lander team of 96 (who I played against) was very very good but I think this Armstrong team may be even better. Although some of the SIU-Edwardsville teams from the early 80's also deserve mention. Always hard to say "the best ever" but no question this years Armstrong team is Top 3 for best ever.

Oh and fwiw I have no idea what Canadian you are talking about. There were no Canadians playing at Brown from 2005 onward. Maybe he wasn't a Canuck, but always good for a Canuck to get credit even if he is not a Canuck.

Paul Ratchford came out of the BC area - loved his game - two handed off both wings, but his volleys were sick. I had him teamed up with a 6'7 Aussie and they beat the shite out of everyone.

He'd be right too......Men's tennis is deep...probably deeper than it's ever been. It's just unfortunate that America is nowhere close to having a top 7 player even. I mean no one is even coming up through the pipeline. American mens tennis is DEAD. Pretty sad. Fish was the biggest top 10 joke ever. Roddick is hanging on for money or something because he'll be out of top 50 soon. Losing to the soedas of the world is a disgrace for the former contender and ass toy of federer. Isner may have the best serve, but can't break anyone and when his serve isn't over 80 percent, forget about it. Of course Roddick could probably compete for a spot on the Florida women's team but only becuase of physical ability. I bet half their team is tougher mentally.
