I actually had a couple of pushes last week, but I don?t count them in my standings, what is the point. Headed in the right direction anyway, only down a half unit. I had BYU +7 as one of my best bets and got a push on it after they were covering most of the game, so I should be on the plus side, but those are the breaks.
It has been a hectic week for me, not much time to look at all these games. Might be a good thing, maybe I won?t over analyze things so much, which I have a tenancy to do. Sorry, write ups are going to be real brief, just been too busy this week.
Kansas St +14 vs Louisville (best bet)???..I could see this line if it were at Louisville, but it is not. Kansas St has been know to play some team tough at home. Louisville as we all know is not a full strength and they have to deal with a letdown possibility after beating up on the hurricanes last week. Just too many points. Louisville always loses a game they should not and this could be that game. I am not calling for the outright upset, but the points are real solid in this one.
Iowa St +25 vs Texas (best bet)???.Taking another big dog here with my best bets. I know this is Texas, but I don?t care. Iowa State has too good an offense to be getting almost four touchdown. Sure they could get blown out, but I doubt it. I can easily see a 48-27 type of game. I think the odds makers are not giving Iowa St enough credit here, they can score with the best of them.
BYU -28.5 vs Utah State (strong play)???.I really like this byu offense. I think they are going to put a lot of points on the board this year. On the other hand, Utah St cannot even score. In three games they only have seven points and their defense scored that, so their offense has been shutout in three games. I think they finally crack the scoreboard this week, but won?t score any where near enough to cover. I usually don?t lay these kind of points, but we have a really bad team in Utah St here.
Tulsa +4.5 vs Navy (strong play)??..I think the wrong team is favored in this one. I am not impressed with Navy at all. Tulsa on the other hand has most a lot of last years team back and they were a decent team last year. I will call for an outright win in this one, but I am not going to play the money line. If Navy does get lucky and win, it will be by a field goal and that is all.
Arkansas -2 vs Alabama (regular play)?????Almost seems funny seeing Arkansas the fav in this game, but it is correct. Arkansas has had some tough luck this year, but I think playing at home they get a win here. Bama might be a little over rated in my book while Arkansas might be a little better than people think.
San Diego St +9 vs Utah (regular play)????Just a gut feeling here. I think we have a live dog. San Diego State?s offense has really struggled so far, but they have played pretty good on the other side of the ball. I think their defense continues to play well and I hope being at home they get some break and get the offense moving. Getting more than a touchdown at home has some value to me here. I think San Diego is going to lose a heartbreaker. Lets make it 24-17.

Wisconsin +13.5 vs Michigan??..Michigan looked to good last week.
Penn State +16.5 vs Ohio State??.Just about everybody calling for Penn State to take a beating in this one. I think it is much closer than most think.
W Michigan -30 vs Temple??..Any time a college team plays a high school team, you have to go with the college team don?t you?
Florida Int +18 vs Maryland????.FIU seems to lose a lot of close games, my gut tells me this one will be close to, maybe by 10.
This is the week I break out and really put myself in the plus. I feel pretty good about these games.
