some early leans:

1) appy st vs furman.....
furman, those world beaters defeated tenn chat, and are on top of the world...only to face an appalachian team AT home, ready to lay some serious smack on them. Hope the line ain't too high on this one.
furman's won 3 straight ATS when they were in fact, a pretty poor ATS team.....still, they're 0 - 8 on the road.

2) i like st.john's over u CONN....again, we'll use the ranked team on the road angle vs inner conference foe. Also helps that ST. John's has had u conn's number in the last 7 matches...AND they're at home. U CONN has not won here since 1999.

3) kansas...they've lost two in a row....they should bounce back against texas.

maybe another good bet would be the OVER in this game....if the total's around 140.

UCONN is a different team on the road ( scoring 20 points LESS).....historically St.John's has gotten the better of u CONN in the last few years.....chalk up another ranked opponent losing on the road in an inter div match up.

5) looking at common opponents, texas went into arizona and only lost by 3, kansas was favoured by 5 at HOME and lost by 17.

don't think that'll happen again, but i think -7 is too much for them to win by:

Texas +6.5 -110 ( 1 unit)

6) Kansas will have to tighten up the ship if they wanna avoid their first 3 game losing streak in awhile...

under 154.5 ( 1 unit)
