At first glance these are the games that stand out to me:

NTX-Seem to turn it up a notch when league play starts

Cuse-Stepping down in competition

Mizzou-Okie St is awful

Kansas-KSU offesnsive game has not impressed me

AFORCE-A more seasoned club

Baylor-Solid team against a bang up squad

SDSU-Rebels have some offensive issues

Vols-Whom have the Dawgs played thus far?

Tulane-Wish it was in the dome

UCLA-Just played a crap game and line shows this

Totals

Troy under

NILL under

Mizzou under

USC under

BGSU undr

Colorado over

West Mich uner

Tulane over

Ohio St under

that one of iowa's three wins was against a 1-aa team. the other two wins were against teams with a combined record of 2-7.

against their only two true opponents (ohio state and iowa state), they still have not scored a touchdown.

taoist, I agree with your leans ...

I'm limiting myself to one cfb teaser this week, took MICH -1/2 to WSU Cougs -6, both at home ....

Cougs just flat out couged game at beavs, should chew bark off trees; Cougs lost to Trees LY too, and need this for any hope for bowl, i still like their team .... UM tho playing on negative revenge for minny, also know they coulda easily lost LY ... Minny's time to fold now on October grass--came in 363 days ago from next week's kickoff undefeated.... only fear is UM letdown from mich st, but had they lost woulda been worse

like this one a lot

gman, thanks for the reply. however, did you watch nd-purdue? purdue could have serious hangover from that debacle. plus, i love ferentz +6 vs. tiller. dont you agree that iowa is probably a better team?

TCU +6 Playing Wyoming

I think both teams can maybe get a SU win

zman:

i was more playing devils advocate for you. i certainly dont think purdue is a great team necessarily, though i do feel they are better than iowa. the loss to notre dame was bad, and you certainly dont want to get drilled by an in-state rival like that. but purdue still has a shot to run the table in the big ten. so their season isnt lost by any stretch. ferentz is a fantastic coach, but i just dont think iowa is a good team this year (or at least not as good as the hype)

I like several games at first glance.
Wyo like the homefield advantage here. May be the class of **.
Mem CFla broke 17 game streak with 2 in a row. Won't be 3.
TT don't think the Huskers can score enough to keep up.
AF still the service academy class. Navy rebuilding.
Ohio St class edge here. PSU offense exposed.

washington!!! huskies' only wins in last 2 years are against san jose st. last year and idaho this year.

cal looked good vs wildcats but then agains it is only arizona. like oregon and stanford!

I definitely think PSU will have some problems against OSU. You can't do anything straight up against the Lions, but I think OSU's offense will bring a little more to the table with their speed and their looks.

Indiana favored and being bet up??? I'll have to take another look

My thoughts exactly.

LY's game was clooser then the final score would indicate, IMO Bruins are the more talented team.

I like a few games thus far

SDSU
E.Carolina
W.Mich
Utah ST Its OK to laugh...
Louisville
UCLA

Anyone think TT-3 is the biggest trap on the board. They've played such cupcakes so far.

Neb is looking for revenge LY game was like 70-7ish

Something I always think about when capping a game is "If it looks too good to be true it most likely is"

That Tech line looks way too easy and Tulah said when it looks too easy it usually is a sucker play. I did not watch Nebraska play IWST but they must of had improved production out of their offense in order to win outright and they seem to have an improved defense and homefield with revenge on their side going into the Tech game. I cannot get out of my mind the beating that Tech put on the Huskers last year as they scored at will and I wonder has the personnel changed that much to make up the 60 point difference from last year?

I'm getting off of the TT wagon for this week. It looks like they have significant injuries on the defensive side of the ball coming out of the Kansas game. Neb QB also threw for 400+ yds on Io St. Not sure how they compare to TT secondary, but not willing to find out with my $'s.

Playing:
WVU - (26-4 SU vs Rutgers)
Mem (will run for 300 yards this week)
Kan
AF
Ohio St
Pitt (please don't laugh)
UCLA (agree with MC- line is overreaction to Was game)
Fla Atl (similar to Syr - stepping way down in comp getting pts)
Syr
Okl (Sun Tzu play)

After Louisville, Fla Atlantic may be stepping down in competition to play La Lafayette.

But if you had eyes in the back of your head you'd have seen the week before as 7' pt home chalk, they lost outright to Ul Monroe, 28-21.

Danny Noonan,

Every week I keep waiting for Pitt to have a bust out game and every week they seem to have an offensive meltdown, so what makes you feel that this is their week to come out of thsi funk?

Ouch someone sent me some footage of the Buffalo-West Mich game and you talk about bad beats this one was a killer
