YTD: 15-8

PICK: Princeton -1.5

Tough loss by the hook last night as Harvard and Cusworth performed as expected.

Princeton lost to a Columbia team that couldn't miss a shot: Columbia hit 80% from the field in the 1H and 67% for the game. Princeton played pretty well, shooting in the mid-40s from the field and turning the ball over less than ten times.

Cornell lost to Penn (I should have played the Quakers). The Big Red played pretty well but with a couple of freshman playing leading roles for Cornell I think they'll have trouble with the Princeton O the first time around.

Can't see Princeton going 0-2 on the opening weekend.

good luck.

B -- A couple of good freshmen: Foley is a fairly slight guard but he is good with the ball, Niko is a streaky outside shooter but I heard he did a great job last night when he took it to the hoop. I saw him play in hs a couple of times for Christ The King. I'm surprised he ended up at Columbia. Mack Montgomery is the guy who is really playing well right now.

Columbia played some pretty tough D last night; don't think they let Princeton get the backdoor even once. I think their shooting will cool off tonite, and if Penn decides to play some D (which I think they will given that they want a little payback for losing at Levien last year to ruin their perfect Ivy season), this game should go well under the 141.

Of course, I should give up capping the Ivy and just follow your plays and I'd be 3-0 not 0-1.

in a perverse kind of way, this was better than last night, when we lost by 1/2 a stinkin' point. Hang tough Jon, you'll bounce back.
