2) Fairfield -9 -108 ( 1/2 unit)
good ATS home record, Rider hasn't done shit ATS lately.

3) first half play: Rhode Island -8 -104 (1/2 unit)
revenge game for R.I as bonnies are terrible ats on the road....i think RI should get this number in the first half.....BUT St.Bonny historically plays R.I tough. Hoping for a first half cover here.

Michigan WILL NOT make the tourney, no matter what happens in this game or the rest of their games. They are in 8th place in the Big Ten, and other than Illinois, Wisconsin, and Mich. St., I am not sure there will be any more than one other from the conference.
Wisconsin's road record is suspect, but I see no value in them trying to get into the big show.

a moot point at best, but looking at it from a mich coach's point of view....they have some winnable games the last 3 of 4, so they can try to leapfrog over some of the teams ahead of them thus making a small push to end the season on a good note.

True. Actually was just trying to make a poing of how weak the Big Ten is this year. With a late surge in the final 5 games, Michigan can set themselves up for a nice seed in the N.I.T.

They will get it today... squares are all other of wisky because of name recognition..

I not sure but I think Michigan is still on ncaa prob from the webber bs and can't play in post season anyways. But that may have ended also not sure.

As a Michigan fan. . . it's a thrill after the last 5 years to even be snickered at about our tourney hopes. . . the probabtion was lifted back in the fall and the Wolverines are NCAA tourney eligible. . . but are they worthy?

Right now, no. That's obvious.

But, today is the start of a three-game homestand--Wisco, Michigan State and Ohio State. A sweep puts them back into the discussion because those first two games will boost them in all the ratings systems. Then, they close at IU, at NW, then the Big-10 tourney. Michigan gets in the NCAA with six more wins. With only five games left on the schedule, do the math.

I do not bet on UM games, so my money today will be on GaTech.
