A loss to MSU, fighting (and not very well)for bowl eligibilty, whispers that the team has quit on Rodriguez and national reports that the spread has started it's slide toward irrelevance has Ann Arbor a bit nervous, but Purdue has quit more on Tiller than Michigan on Rodriguez. Purdue's rush d is horrid and any respectable numbers that they may have had are due to PSU and OSU boredom than Purdue's skill.

Michigan +3 (-120) 2 units

Sutton out gets rid of one of the few playmakers that the Cats have, but Kafka is a gamer from what I saw when he was a frosh and the St. Rita kid has no quit. The spread will look ugly, but they will be able to move the ball and Minny's fortune has to run out at some point

Carroll looked genuinely apolpgetic for the WSU blowout. He'll do something to keep this close and while Washington is baaaaad, they're not wretched like WSU

ND is 5-2 ATS and surprisingly enough, I'm 5-2 when bettng on their games :grins: - but I'm not backing them today. The concerns in the preseason were rush O and D and they're still my main concerns as the Irish D has been gutted any time someone wants to run north-south.

Always concerned to be backing Wannstedt, but his main weakness is sticking to the run when it's not working to prove some point about toughness and that is exactly what will work today.

Hopefully, the Irish can prevail and gain some mettle while still getting a W, but this game will come down to the final drive
