Cincinnati +9 3 units

Both teams have been hampered by mistakes this year in their losses and have benefitted from them in their wins. Cincy dominated the stats in losses against SoMiss and Tulane, but interception returns and fumbles killed them. Louisville has trouble hanging on to the ball as well. Cincy QB was hampered with a leg injury in earlier losses this season and looked to be back to form last week. Lousville hasn't shaken their Oline problems even this late in the season and with a team that makes so many negative plays, it's hard to not to like this number in a prime time game.

Minnesota +7 5 units

Some trends that really stick out in this game is the fact that Michigan is 3-15-1 as away fav since 1998 and 1-7 on turf. Minnesota under Mason is 21-9 ATS after a straight up loss. Minnesota looked absolutely horrible against Purdue and came back home the following week to have one of their best games of the year. Michigan relies on their running attack to set up the pass and they will be facing on of the toughest run defenses in the Big 10.

California +4.5 4 units

Cal has been forgotten in the PAC 10 this year, with all of the teams that are playing well right now. ASU has had some turnaround, but got waxed last week at Wazzou. Big bounce back for them now? Nah. Cal was shredded on the ground in their last against Oregon State but I don?t think that Arizona State has the run offense or the desire to try to expoit it. Seeing the way that the Sun Devils have been beaten through the air against QBs not as good as Boller. ASU has struggled early in games all year long and you have to go against those teams when their in favorite roles.

Central Michigan +14.5 4 units

Good rush defense and a good rush offense going in as 14.5 point dogs to a team off an outright loss as a favorite. Outside of a terrible game against NIU, Central Michigan has looked strong this season and Toledo has all the pressure on them in this game as their MAC championship hopes are still alive.

UAB +7 4 units

Thanks to other?s insights, I did check the stats on this one and 7 points seem to be enough. I historically love betting UAB, but wrote them off due to their defensive woes. It?s been 5 games since SoMiss outgained anybody and with the loss of Nix, it will be tough for the Eagles to move the chains. UAB 8-2 under this coach as a home dog.
