and Auburn on deck. Troy gives the big boys

Thx gents.

Leaning Vandy +16.5 as well. Youthful Fla is likely deflated after losing the chance a BCS bowl with the UGA loss.

Played:

Troy +15 x2
UL-L +30 [-105] x1 & +29 [-105] x1
FSU +7 [-115] x2
GT -2.5 [-105] 1.5
Minn +11 [-105 ]x1
Vandy +15 -105 x1
GT un41 -102 x.5

Think Vandy is a 'sneaky' type team this year Cie...they are only giving up 300ypg and if I'm not mistaken that's abou 3rd best in the conference behind LSU and Auburn. They might even take both the Cats & Vols this year...:scared

Hey Cie, Thanks for all the information. Been watching...

Question:
Does Ga. Tech fall under the unranked fav system?

LSU @ Bama

LSU is severely banged up. AS many know, LSU has been without their best O lineman all season and without a starting DT Alexander for over a month. Two OL were kicked off the team this summer for fighting and other off field issues. Another potential DE starter, Ricky Jean Francois, is out for the year with grade issues.

Now there are 4 more injured defensive starters questionable for this weekend including All America DT Dorsey, DE Pittman, and 2 All SEC LBs in Highsmith and Beckwith.

Bama OL is better than I thought, and I think they have a good chance of keeping this one close, particularly if the injured players are unable to go, or -worse yet- unable to go at full speed:scared

Any chance you could give us an update on the defensive injuries later in the week Cie?

I like LSU a lot if they're healthy defensively.

Dorsey and Pittman are supposedly 90%+. Highsmith(ankle) and Beckwith(shoulder) are a little banged up still. Both will play.

Bye week couldn't have come for LSU at a better time. Heard this today from reliable BR local:

Offense:

Doucet 100%

OG Arnold Conditioning concerns remain after his layoff. Pre season all american, has not played for 6 weeks. He has been sorely missed, and will be in the rotation this weekend

Defense:

DT Dorsey 90%

DT Favorite 100% for 1st time in a while ( note: Favorite opened season at 2nd string. Inherited job when Alexander was lost for the season.

LB Highsmith tweaked ankle, bye week helped, near 100%

LB Beckwith Shoulder is back in place, bye week helped, should be fine

DE Pittman Should play, but had minor lower back and hamstring issues which have gone unpublicized

CB Jackson Will be fine. May play with a face shield.

S Steltz 100%

Hope it helps. GL:weed:
