F Isaac Copeland | 6-9 | Jr. | 12.1 | 6.3

F Isaiah Roby | 6-8 | So. | 7.1 | 5.2

WHO TO WATCH

Palmer. Obviously. The junior has played with a renewed sense of purpose since his benching at Penn State, scoring 24, 19 and 34 points in Nebraska's three games since. His second-half hot streak against Ohio State was a thing of beauty.

Rutgers (12-9, 2-6 Big Ten)

Player | Ht. | Yr. | PPG | RPG

G Geo Baker | 6-4 | Fr. | 11.5 | 2.4

G Corey Sanders | 6-2 | Jr. | 14.2 | 4.5

G/F Issa Thaim | 6-10 | So. | 7.9 | 4.3

F Deshawn Freeman | 6-7 | Sr. | 11.6 | 7.4

F Mamadou Doucoure | 6-9 | Fr. | 3.3 | 3.6

WHO TO WATCH

Sanders. He's the straw that stirs the drink for Rutgers, and had 25 points on 11 of 18 shooting in last season's Scarlet Knights' win over Nebraska. He's also one of the best defenders in the Big Ten.

THREE-POINTERS

1. Despite Monday's loss, Nebraska's 14-8 record is its best through 22 games since joining the Big Ten. The Huskers' 5-4 league record is also its best through nine games since joining the conference.

2. James Palmer's 34-point performance at Ohio State is in the record books as one of the best by a Husker away from Lincoln, ranking fifth for most points scored by a Nebraska player in a road or neutral-site game. Eric Piatkowski tops the list with his 42-point outburst against Oklahoma in the 1994 Big Eight Tournament.

3. Rutgers has played 17 of its 21 games this season at home. All four road games have come in conference play; the Scarlet Knights are 0-4 in those games, losing by an average of 18 points.
