I know I know, Nebraska played bad a few games at home. Thats why they are giving up +14

I know I know - Texas has dominated teams like this , for the last year.

I know I know - Nebraska has a differant style of play and may not be able to keep up with Texas.

I know I know - Nebraska does not have a running QB that can take the pressure off.

Here is what I do know.

Texas is under a huge pressure in this game. This is for a chance at the Title game they lost out on last year. Sometimes this kind of pressure to excell plays games with your mind. Then what happens is the team plays to make big plays and they arent always there. So they adjust. Then bad things happen. Before you know it you are in a fight for your title hopes going down the drain in front of you.

Nebraska has a defense to disrupt Texas and make this a close game.

Nebraska will run on Texas.

Nebraska's game at Virginia Tech early in the season impressed the shit out of me. They played with guts in that game.

Nebraska know they are being talked about as big underdogs. Pride has never been lacking for a Nebraska football team.

OH SHIT !

I smell money and it smells green !

could face a stiff challenge versus a Cornhuskers' defense that's allowing a league-low 11.1 points per contest.

"They have great players all across the board on defense, so we're going to have to be extremely prepared," said standout receiver Jordan Shipley,

Though Nebraska ranks 11th in total offense (334.7 yards per game) and doesn't have a game-breaker like Johnson, the Cornhuskers are averaging 25.6 points per game and have won five in a row heading into this contest.

I think you're on the right side given the spread. Nebraska's defense is for real. Yes, their offense sucks, but this should be a low scoring, physical game & taking anything over 2 TD's appears to make sense.

Texas offense vs. Nebraska defense

? The top offensive priority for Texas has to be minimizing the impact of Nebraska DTs Ndamukong Suh and Jared Crick. It won't be easy because Suh, who is one of the best in the nation, and Crick match up favorably in any one-one-one battles with Longhorns RG Michael Huey, LG Charlie Tanner and C Chris Hall. Offensive coordinator Greg Davis has to help his interior offensive linemen in a number of different ways, including varying his blocking schemes. Texas can double-team the play-side defensive tackle with a guard and tackle and block back on the other defensive tackle with Hall when pulling the back-side guard, and can also run draws that allow the interior offensive linemen to bait the defensive tackles upfield and then ride them in whichever direction their momentum carries them. They can ride the defensive tackles in either direction because QB Colt McCoy and RB Tre' Newton both read blocks well.

Nebraska has one tough defense or Texas is

soft in the trenchs.

If Nebraska had any passing game at all , we would be watching Alabama TCU in the title game.

For McCoy not to know that clock was running out
was incredible. If that clock had run out McCoy would have never lived it down. It would have followed him the rest of his life.
