Here is my problem..about 3 weeks ago I bought a Pepsi machine from a distributor in illinois. I was told it came with a 6 month warranty. I pick it up, pay for it and bring it home. The very next day the compressor goes out. Ok no big deal..things happen. I call them back up and they say someone will be out tommorow. They dont show and dont even call. I call and finally get ahold of them after leaving 4 messages over 2 days. They said that the vendor that was suppose to do it let them down and they will send one of there own guys out tommorow. Same shit happens..I wait and they dont show. After another 2 days of leaving messages they call back and say there guy got in an accident. Ok..I pull the compressor out myself and drive the 2 hours down there and get it switched out. Life is good for exactly 3 days.

Wouldnt you know it the bill validator stops working. I call and the same thing starts over again. They said that they will be here to fix it and dont show. I call and they apologize and set up another date. Same thing happens. They were suppose to be here today but werent. Now Im pissed. If they couldnt make it all they had to do was call...dont promise something you are not going to deliver. I feel as though I am getting th run around.

Here is where your help is needed. If each of you could send them an e-mail I would appreciate it. All you have to do is just copy and paste the line I type below and send it out. Please do not add any profanity. I am posting this at a couple different sites and I figure if they get enough e-mail they will do what is right. This is a small company so it shouldnt take much e-mail to get there attention. If you want to post this at a different site feel free. I also filed a complaint with the BBB.

Thanks

address...sales@mcdonaldvending.com

Subject...Pepsi Machine warranty

message...Tim from Wi had purchased a machine from you 3 weeks ago. Why will you not honor the warranty he says you gave him and fix the bill validator?

They will know exactly who you are talking about.
Thanks again

Tim,

I sent also. I had a bad situation too a few years ago with the SPORTSMAN GUNSAFE COMPANY out of Calif. Mine was finally resolved after sending a couple of nasty e-mails to the attorney's general of Calif and Ohio. I actually got a phone call from the attorney general's office here in Ohio and they quickly resolved the matter.

No repsponce yet. I will sit down this weekend and post this to as many forums I can find. Thanks again to everyone that sent an e-mail for me.

TonyTT..I am going to see if the BBB can do anything for me and then figure out what my options are. What does the Attorney General help you with?? Does it have to be out right fraud in order to make a complaint??

Tim,

In my e-mails to the attorney general, I explained my situation and threw in phrases like "rip-off artists"...and "sleazy slip-shod business operation". I think an e-mail to your attorney general is definately worth a shot, who knows how many other complaints may have been filed against these guys and with who.
Should they happen to forward your complaint back to those guys.....just a correspondence from the att gen's office may be enough to get them off their butts.

Tim,

I looked up your Wiscon Attorney General site. If you go there and look under SERVICES....then CONSUMER COMPLAINTS, it says...."The office seeks injunctions to stop FRAUDULENT OR DECEPTIVE PRACTICES. It sounds to me like that would certainly apply in your case....might as well file a complaint against them.

I have it in the garage so the kids in the neighborhood can buy cheap soda. They buy enough that Im able to keep 1 selection filled with beer for free.:D :D Before anyone asks..I unplug the beer selector when Im not around so they cant purchase any.

Its also good for cookouts. Like this Mon we will have a bunch of people over and we set the machine on a nickle and put out a container of them so they can get the soda for free. That way there is no messing around with coolers or running in the house all the time to the fridge.

When you say Pepsi machine, do you mean an actual soda machine that pops out cans and such, or something like what fast-food places have fountain drinks?

Not that it matters either way if you got hosed on the equipment, I was just curious.

Done with wifes email and said what you wished. Waiting to see if it works for you. If not tell us I will call. I dont even have to mention you. Just tell him his service must stink because that's what everone tells me. And what gurantee will he give me to buy a product from him.

Thanks for the offer djv but here is what I have decided to do. I have decided to just see what happens with the BBB. I have been spending way to much time being pissed about this and its not worth it. I will just take it as a lesson learned and move on. I found out where I can get another bill validator so I will get it and put it in. Thanks again to everyone that tried to help with the e-mails.
