I wanna do some betting on baseball this year and I have a few questions. What is a dime line? I used a site for the football season but it isnt on madjacks list of sponsers so I would like to know which one is good (I figure they all are but I dont want to just close my eyes and choose) I want to use one that accepts credit cards and they charge it as a purchase and not a cash advance. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

bubbas1.....a dime line is basically a betting line with a 10-cent differential. With a dime line, if the favorite is -120, the underdog is +110

Basically a dime line is just reduced vig or juice. If the book uses 20 cent lines, an example would be if a favorite is -130, the underdog would be +110 thus 20-cent differential.

Some solid books that can expect a lot of my action this year:

VIP.......10-cent lines up to -170
BetGameDay.....10-cent lines up to -159
Pinnacle.....I believe 8-cent lines up to -150

Also many more out there, just check around. Not sure about the payment options...I pretty much use WU for most. You can also check a discussion on this in the following thread:

Good luck this season :)
