Did the Nazis think the same thing during WW2? The US spends more money on the military than the rest of the world put together. The US is 12x the size of Iraq, Iraq has no navy, no AF, no nukes, yet the war is in it's 5th year with no end in sight. Why can't this military put these guys away? When a Iraqi is killed his blood is spilled on his soil, fighting for his country. When a US soldier is killed in Iraq, what is he dying for? We have leaders who are all for freedom and justice, but when it was their turn to fight for these things they took a raincheck. Now they stand tall and brave when it's others children who are dying, and you support this? We in Iraq are the Red coats, are the Nazis who have invaded for no cause. We use to stand for the right thing, now i don't know what we stand for. People who wish us harm have the US government in place that they want now. Killing Americans everyday, 10 billion dollars a month and most of all the damage to America's image in the eye of the world. Everytime a soldier kills a carload of civilians or drops a bomb on a house. Yes America can kill alot of people, maybe they can not be defeated, but maybe the enemy can not be defeated too.
The answer that DTB seems unable to process is that this is not a war. We are not fighting an army. There is no military solution. Colin Powell and countless others who understand the fundamentals of military conflict have spoken out on the subject, but people like DTB continue to think that we are in a "war" and that to withdraw is defeatist. It is unfathomanable, but then again, these are the same people that voted in George Bush as "commander in cheif." What a joke.
Good point Jab. If I may, don't get caught in the trap of calling this a war anymore. Remember our leader said "mission accomplished" many years ago. This is the Iraq occupation. We are kinda like the police in East LA (not very well liked).
Secondly, I was wondering, if when this was a war back in March of 2003 if any of the Iraqi regular army were using any of the weapons we sold them in the 80's? If so, I guess we should of bombed us.

Yes Wayne, by leaders who send the military into country's that did not threaten us thereby undermining there credibility. People will stop joining the military. Just like what your people are doing.
