YTD: 3-4 +1.35 Units

Nice start yesterday, although the ROYALS blew a great day by giving up four runs late. Today's card much smaller...

SAN FRAN +160
MILW +200
SAN DIEGO +200
TAMPA BAY +120

and one FAVORITE again...
OAKLAND -170

I only track the DOG plays for the record, but will also post the FAV's that do come up as plays... yesterday OAK won, so it's 1-0.

Rander, damn! Kickin' ass!

I read from previous posts you use power ratings to get these dog pounders! How do you calculate these ratings? What factors do you look at? It seems to be a bit early to get a true power rating or are you using last seasons ending numbers?

If I'm intruding on a Colonel Sanders top secret finger lickin' good method you care not to divulge I understand :)

Basically I started with LAST YEAR's ending numbers, and adjusted them based on a number of factors, (trades, free agents, injuries, etc) and then I adjust them day to day depending on results. I started tracking these in August and ended up with 249 plays the last couple of months, hitting 45.5% but ending +35 Units. Curious to see how it works over the whole season, but so far so good... just don't get carried away, only time will tell. ;)

3-1 +3.80 Units on dogs (4-1 on the day adding OAKLAND)
YTD: 8-5 +7.15 Units
6-5 +5.15 Units on DOGS
2-0 +2.00 Units on FAVS

VERY nice start to the season! :D Especially when you add in the back to back wins by OAKLAND!

I use the opening line for the most part when figuring my plays, but if you shop, you can do even better. I try and keep the numbers comparable to the average out, not the best line I find.

Lots of games to look at today... I need to get busy!
