I only track the DOG plays for the record, but will also post the FAV's that do come up as plays... yesterday OAK won, so it's 1-0.

I read from previous posts you use power ratings to get these dog pounders! How do you calculate these ratings? What factors do you look at? It seems to be a bit early to get a true power rating or are you using last seasons ending numbers?

If I'm intruding on a Colonel Sanders top secret finger lickin' good method you care not to divulge I understand

Basically I started with LAST YEAR's ending numbers, and adjusted them based on a number of factors, (trades, free agents, injuries, etc) and then I adjust them day to day depending on results. I started tracking these in August and ended up with 249 plays the last couple of months, hitting 45.5% but ending +35 Units. Curious to see how it works over the whole season, but so far so good... just don't get carried away, only time will tell.

VERY nice start to the season! Especially when you add in the back to back wins by OAKLAND!

I use the opening line for the most part when figuring my plays, but if you shop, you can do even better. I try and keep the numbers comparable to the average out, not the best line I find.

Lots of games to look at today... I need to get busy!
