Every trend in the book favours New england in this game.

This game feature perhaps the best coach in the league Bill Bellichek against the worst David Wannstedt.

Wannstedt is perhaps the worst coach in the history of the game at motivating and preparing a team for a big game. If your playing this game consider this, last 3 biggest games for MIAMI were

last years' playoffs loss to Oakland 27-0 L
Home showdown VS the JETS 24-0 L

Blowing a 17-0 lead against JETS at half time.
Also throw in 21-0 shutout loss to 49'ers.

Wannstedt can't coach, there's no exuce for this many shutouts. I will go with the percentages and hope that Wannstedt pulls another classic No show effort tommorrow. Bellichek will have his Pats ready to play, that I can assure you.

Pats have overachieved this season (I think Brady gets most of the credit for that), but 'best coach' and 'Bill Bellicheck' should never be mentioned in the same sentence.

Wannstedt is worse as a talent evaluator than he is as a motivator. This is a guy who gave a first round pick for Rick Mirer when people in Seattle were laughing at him. He let receivers like Jeff Graham, Keenan McCardell and Ricky Proehl get away when he was w/the Bears. Proehl was the leading receiver on the season once when Wanny made him inactive. I think he can motivate a bit since the Bears played tough even though they had zero talent when he coached them. Jimmy gave him a team loaded with defensive talent. Lets see how long it takes him to mess it up.

Then why is Bellichek being nominated for Coach of the Year??

Also a Qb is only as good as his coach and offensive co-ordinator allow him to be. Pats play as a team, I can't believe you would give Brady all the credit, he's playing in a disciplined offensive system, that many QB's can be successfull in. To prove the point why is Kordell Stewart so effective now?? I certainly think all the credit goes to his offensive co-ordinator.

I think anyone who has followed Bellicheck's head-coaching career would agree with this assessment...tremendous defensive coordinator, quite possibly the best in the NFL the past decade or so...but a poor head coach.

Bledsoe was playing in the same system..starting out 0-2. If he was playing would the Pats be 9-5? I don't think they would. Wise is a good offensive coordinator, not great..Brady still has to make the throws and he has..3rd highest completion percentage in the league behind Warner and Gannon.

Bellicheck has done his finest job at a head coach this season. Does that all of a sudden make him the best coach in the league? Absolutely not. And who exactly 'nominated' him for coach of the year..I didn't think this was the Emmy or Academy Awards where you get 'nominated'. Sure, he will get consideration and more than likely finish in the top 5..but highly doubtful he wins, as Cowher or Jauron certainly deserve the award more than him at this point.

True Hoops Bellichek is among the top 5 best coaches in the league, while Wannstedt is defenitely among the 5 worst coaches in the league.

Bottom line this is still a coaching mismatch, and that's always important when betting. Look what happened to our ECU pirates. A better coach would have never lost a 38-8 lead. Coaching plays a HUGE role in the spread winner.

Last time I looked, Bellichek has never won anything.......remember this guy a Cleveland? he stunk. Also even though his Patriots are on a mini run now remember last yr his Patriot team was one of the few who lost to Cleveland.
