New England -9 (37.5) vs NY Jets? These two teams split this season with the road teams winning both games?I don?t see the Patriots not being really up for this game especially after the Jets beat them the last time at home (in the mud and slop) when some of the Jets team danced and celebrated near midfield after the final whistle?after that game the Pats organization was so bent on not waiting for the off-season to replace the field that they had a company install a new turf field ( a job that usually takes more than 3 months) in less than 2 weeks before their next home game?the Pats are a perfect 3-0 at home playing on their new carpet since?the Patriots lost S Rodney Harrison last week (they played much of the season without him) and both teams are a bit banged up?but the Patriots are a better team and have more playoff experience on their side while the Jets made the playoffs?but...they did so by playing an easy last place schedule and have only 1 win against a playoff team (NE) this season?they lost to the likes of the Browns, Bills and Jaguars 41-0 on the road?however?I?m not quite sure the Patriots will dominate this game since these two teams know each other? but I do feel the Pats have enough talent, experience and incentive to send the Jets packing for the season which would make Patriots Coach Bill Belichick much happier than when he left the field the last time these two teams met?NE has played UNDER in 9 of the last 10 playoff home games and are 9-2 UNDER last 11 as a favorite and 7-2 UNDER the last 9 at home?NYJ have played UNDER in 7 of their last 9 overall?the weatherman is calling for a sunny day with temps in the upper 40?s for the game.
