cooz, I agree. Seems like they exchanged McLaren for Jillson and will rent Hackett for the remainder of the year. At the end of the year then what? They still have no legit # 1 goalie do they? Unless they go with Raycroft fulltime. Hackett is 34 and UFA after the year and will still have more losses than wins in his career and a near 3 GAA. I guess for the short term it is a good move for them considering they had little leverage.
