This game is on Saturday and the lines have moved
Opened up Utah St -11..has now dropped to Utah St -7.5.
I' m sure the main reason is that Aggies HC Wells and his off and def coord have already moved to Lubbock to coach at Texas Tech...so they have an interim coach in Meile... I really don't think that matters as much as most people think..Rumors of Wells moving on have been there all year..he has won 32 of last 38 games including 10-2 this year..no one is surprised or shocked that he is moving on..North Texas coach Littrell has been rumored to go this year too...I'm sure it does have some effect esp the play calling during the game but in preparation for the bowl very little...it also has been rumored that both coordinators have been working with there teams but won't be on the sidelines on Saturday...there game plan has already been set...

Utah St -7.5 over North Texas ******
Went to the Alamo-dome 2 weeks ago and watched North texas beat UTSA 24-21...NT was a 25 pt favorite and was lucky to win that game... UTSA with a losing record almost beat them..North Texas started the season beating Arkansas and Smoo...but they have struggled beating a bad UTEP team 27-24, a FAU team by 3, and UTSA by 3..then they lost to UAB,La tech and ODU...they did beat up the Rices etc..they have an excellent qb in 5'9 Fine who has broken every passing record at NT and threw for 3,700 yds,27 Td's and only 4 interceptions..and he didn't get Conf USA POY and made 2nd All conf team...that was a joke...NT's has Torrey a solid rb who has over 900 yds and some wr's that are good Bussey has over 1,000 yds in receptions but has a hamstring injury but will play.....OL did a good job and have a solid FG kicker...its NT 's defense that will be the problem...they have an outstanding LB in EJiya and some decent Def linemen..Db's are good but vs UTSA last week they were lost..Missed assignments and communication problems...think tomorrow that will be a major concern..
This a well coached team..Littrel will probably be gone after the season...he is mentioned in many replacement positions...last yr they won the Conf division but this year were on 5-3...he took this team to New Orleans Bowl last year and got hammered 50-30 by Troy...and Troy subbed because they could of scored 3 or 4 more Td's... almost everyone is back from that drubbing but don't think it will make a difference..because the Aggies will do almost the same..

Utah St....10-2 lost to Boise in the MWC game...but these guys are good...NT hasn't seen an offense like this including Ark and Smoo...they have an outstanding qb in 6'4 Love..he has almost the same stats as Fine.He has 3,200 passing yds,28 touchdowns and like Fine only 4 interceptions..and he is only a soph...but he has 2 rb's that are hard to stop..Thompson and Bright..these guys don't play together but replace each other...as some said " a two headed monster" attacking you on every down...they have speedster at WR who is , a game breaker in Tarver who at 6'4 plays jump ball with some of Loves passes and a great slot back wr in Scarver who also leads the nation in kick off returns....they have some other wr's that are fast with good hands..and an outstanding TE in Raymond who is an excellent blocker with good hands...he is leaving Utah early and going pro. he is 6'5 250... Off line is solid..Love was sacked only 5 times and they picked up almost all blitzes...a good FG % kicker and Scarver avg 29 yds per return to lead the nation in kickoff returns..
Aggies defense is also solid...they have a 1st team all american linebacker in Woodward..a good DL and Db's..the 2 games they lost Boise and Mich St ran the ball on them.. But even though Mich St was light years ago Utah almost beat them..halftime score was Mich St 20-14 and 3rd qrt Mich up 3 27-24.. Mich St won the game with 5 minutes left winning 38-31...Diantonio Mich St coach said : there no huddle offense gave us real problems,we couldn't sub"
Utah ranks No 3 in the nation in avg margin of points winning avg 29 pts..only Alabama and Clemson are higher.. No 1 in the nation in kickoff returns,an all american linebacker..
Think North Texas defense cannot stop Love and co..to many weapons at Rb's Wr's TE's and Love at Qb...dominate OL.. NT defense who has looked bad vs ODU,La Tech,UAB and UTSA are in trouble..

Think this will be an exciting game to watch...with Fine and Love at Qb and like the New Mex Bowl coordinator said..the combined record of these 2 teams is 19-5 is No 1 except the games played on new Years day..
It looks like an over game but North Texas never goes over..
Utah St wins this by 2 or 3 tds...both teams lost last yr in a Bowl game..and Wells might not be there on the sidelines and watching from Lubbock but his kids have been well coached and will be prepared.. Aggies hurry up and fast play offense spells big time problems ...

Utah St -7.5 over North texas ******
Strong play

thanks Englismen are you going over to monmouth and AC betting..how is AC doing ? are they getting a lot of action in NJ..hope so..

There is an immense amount of action now in NJ.

I actually bet with Fanduel on line, but enjoy going to their Meadowlands facility occasionally on game days...its absolutely packed. Great atmosphere. It's not Vegas, but it's still a good experience.

I like Fanduel, good range of betting options, including global soccer markets, and quick and efficient payouts.

I would be interested to know what % of the handle comes from online vs bricks and mortar sites. I think online will win in the end, so convenient.

If the meadowlands location was to broaden the experience to include a big poker venue, I think it might be a massive destination for New Yorkers as well. The potential is immense.

When are you back in the NE? I'm sure not until the weather gets better in March/April? I'm in NNJ, fairly close to NYS, go to West Point occasionally. Let me know when you are around....I owe you several beers.

Cheers,

English

Sounds good Englishmen. Line is now -7. Not sure why it dropped. But put more * ?s in on it. Also since I?m really certain about today?s game played. Utah -1/2 pt 1st quar *** and Utah -4.4 1st half. Hope I?m right about this game because it?s a big play for me. Hate cheering against my boys but I remember last year in New Orleans watching Troy blow away north Texas. You could see in 5 minutes Troy was going to dominate I was making 1st and half time plays on my phone. I really think same thing happens today.

Box this doesn't make one side a winner but N.Texas and Arizona St are two of the worst College ATS teams for the season....

Just thought I'd throw that in...GL on your plays

I know Buddy..they also have such a potent offense but never ever go over...you would think they would go over....just found out Bussey NT's top WR with over 1,000 yds might not play...he was limping in San Antonio 2 weeks ago but when your at the game you really don;t see or hear what the announcers are saying..I was right behind the NT bench..but I do remember the DB coach was screaming about communication in the def backfield...and UTSA did not have the speed they will see today in receiving ...kinda surprised the line went down after questioning Bussey's availability.. well I;ll wait for the kickoff and watch....if I lose it will be big but promise to come in here and apologize...still think Aggies dominate ....and Scarver might just run the opening kick back for a TD..hopefully utah wins the coin flip...

Great call box! Had a dime on them! Nickel on 1st half. Game never in doubt! North Texas ran out of qbs. They used all 4 and almost all got hurt.

Also had under 28 2h on Nolan?s halftime angle. Great day so far. Waiting on Texans to pull thru 1h and game. Tailing Vicc onthat one!

Tailing Arrow on houston rockets over and over 1h too.

52-13 was almost exactly like last years New Orleans Bowl when Troy blew them away 50-30...NT defense gave up over 550 yds...and qb Love missed his wr's who were wide open about 5 times...there was one play when the NT cb thought the safety was covering inside...Utah wr caught an easy td....that was the exact same play I watched vs UTSA when communications between those 2 wasn't there 2 weeks ago.. Utah has to much talent and the OL gave Love great protection..I don't think he was once pressured ...NT's Fine was 8-12 for 59 yds before he pulled his hamstring...game might of been closer but Utah St would of still won and covered..in 2nd half they went away from no huddle half the time...NT put 3 other qb's out there and they couldn't do anything...
It was a nice win for me because I had every single possible play..1st qrt,half,etc...
thanks for the comments...Randercity Appogee is really nice...did you see those big windmills?
Going to UTSA-North Texas game basketball game on Jan 12th in San Antonio ...
Hopefully a few of you guys won some $ now Army is -3 over Houston.. Army's triple option will......stop...need to relax a few days...take care...again thanks
