Turner and Byrd have a chance to end UNM's 45-year drought between bowl victories when the Lobos (6-6 overall, 4-4 Mountain West Conference) take on San Jose State (8-4, 5-3 Western Athletic Conference) in the inaugural New Mexico Bowl this afternoon at University Stadium.
