If staying in French Quarter, then you have an assortment of restaurants within walking distance from which to choose.

I recommend Bayona and August (CBD) for dinner.

For lunch i recommend Mother's, which is very close to Harrah's.

There are plenty more, and I'll chime in later in the week when I have more time.
