Just spent 20 minutes typing notes and then hit the wrong button and erased the whole freaking page. Anyway, I'll type basic notes now. Last day of this decade so let's go out with a bang!:mj06: :00hour
Air Force +5 for 10* - Falcons #1 against the pass, Houston #113 against the run. Keenum is the big name in this game and although Houston is playing close to home, this hasn't been a recipe for success this bowl season. MWC has dominated in bowl games while C-USA has been terrible other than SMU.
Stanford +10.5 for 10* - What do Marijuana and Oklahoma have in common??? They both like to get smoked in bowls... on a more serious note, OU was 1-5 SU when they left Norman this season and Pritchard, Stanford's likely QB, did engineer the largest point spread upset in college football history in 2007 when Stanford won @ USC. Harbaugh will have his kids ready to compete.
Missouri -6.5 for 10* - Tough backing the Tigers, but when Gabbert was healthy, he was as good as any QB in the country. When he was gimping around on a bad ankle, he sucked. Navy's triple option will give MU problems, but Missouri has far superior talent and their OL should wear down Navy's smallish defensive front. Alexander should have another monster game for Missouri as I believe this kid will be gone on draft day by the 3rd round. At 6-5 and with long strides, he's a matchup nightmare for Navy.
Iowa State +3 (-120) for 10* - Glad I bought this line yesterday when it was available. Decker, Minny's stud WR is out and going against a weak Big 10 team when they're laying points seems like a wise investment. Iowa State will have a TON of fans at this game as I know a few traveling. Arnaud and Robinson will provide enough offensively for ISU to win, but I'll take the 3 for insurance.
Vols +5.5 for 10* - The SEC has dominated the ACC this season and I expect this trend to continue. Hokies already lost @ this venue once this season and I won't be suprised to see it happen again Thursday night. Crompton is the more polised QB in this game and I believe the Vols have the tools to upset VT. Remember, Tennessee was a Mount Cody blocked FG away from putting TCU or Cincy in the title game.
Happy New Year's Everyone!
