I'm planning on going to Golden Gate Fields next weekend. My question is, what is the club house? And what is the turf club? Are these worth paying more for? Thanks
never been to golden gate but most tracks club house you will probably get a table ,and a ok meal ,good view.turf club probably a dress code stuffy atmosphere better meal.hell get gen. adm. maybe a seat move around check out paddock,watch a race at fin. line have some fun,have a beer and a hot dog!:spotting:
Turf Club is probably their fine dining restaurant although fine dining at a racetrack does not really exist. Only advantage is that it is usually more comfortable to handicap there since there seems to be less commotion or fewer distractions. If you enjoy people watching the grandstand is the place to be. It's a real education.
