Saw today where that new whiz-bang spokesperson Dana Perino said that the U.S. government is supportive of civilian nuclear interests abroad - in response to Egypt's plan to add nuclear capabilities. She also mentioned how "clean burning" nuclear power is.
If this isn't another example of the hypocrisy of this administration, I don't know what is. Certainly, Egypt is considered to be pretty tied in with terroristic activities, both from a financial and citizenship basis, and our support of that program sure undermines any kind of terror credibility we have. Much like Pakistan...
And I can only guess that Dana was repeating what she heard from Dubbya, about Newkular energy being "clean burning." That could only come from a dumb oilman, couldn't it?
