NEWMEXST -14' v Ark State

I know, I know....

Never ask a bad team to win for you and Ark State surely qualifies as bad.

In their L 2 games, they've been held scoreless and gave up 55 and 49 respectively.

Okay, so they're strugglin' a little.

But NEW MEX STATE ain't Operation Shock and Awe.

This is what has me curious.

L week, new mex state -6 (-3') beat UL MONROE, 21-14.

*new mex state was up 15-0 at the half.
*new mex state time of possession was 38:44 to 21:16
*new mex state outrushed UL MON 71-336 to 22-35

***YET new mex state HAD TO SCORE A FOURTH QTR TD TO SECURE THE NARROW WIN/COVER.

Rumor has it Ark State had some good practices this week and I think these kids are gonna' suck it up and play for all their worth.

Ark St is horrible. They have lost 55-0. I bet against them with Utah St. last week. Utah st. beat them 49-0. Ark is on their 3rd straight road game. Ask ND2002 and look at his posts. A VERY HIGH % of teams in their 3rd straight road game do not cover. New Mex St covers this by about 20 in my opinion.

Congrats! I liked this play earlier in the week and backed- off.

Played Ark St. all last year and won . They lost several players from last year on the offensive side and scoring points wasn't on their agenda over the past weeks.
