Rumors are flying rampantly on this...

I've heard that he was in deep to a drudg dealer for heavy cocaine use...then to repay his debt there was some point shaving going on.

All I know is that I have lost a ton of money on MSU this year..Have they covered a game?

This according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press

Michigan State coach Bobby Williams maintained his silence about why quarterback Jeff Smoker is suspended, saying only that Smoker won't be playing Saturday when the Spartans face Michigan.
"It's an indefinite suspension, which means it's open-ended. He could come back or he may not come back," Williams said.
Smoker was suspended Thursday (Oct 24) for an unspecified violation of team rules.
Williams said sophomore Damon Dowdell is scheduled to start at quarterback for Michigan State (3-5, 1-3 Big Ten) for the second consecutive game.
