if i read that right.....the starting line was +8 for auburn and within a span of 10 minutes at around 1045pm it jacked from +7 to a -7....????
WTF???
i DON'T think auburn's line should have even been bet up there....they're only playing around .500 ball on the road the last 3 years.....oh well, i guess we'll find out this week.
As much as I hate Auburn, they will be able to run the ball on most everyone in the country and once they get the run established, their offense is one of the most powerful in the country. GaTech is a lower-level ACC program now. 11 wouldn't seem to be that much to me.
I hear you weasel, those teasers are damn tempting but something always happens. I think they work much better on NFL Dogs. Auburn should win that game fairly easily, but its unknown how they react to that crushing loss last week.
PSU is 8-1 in last 9 home games, with wins by........54,21,11,49,32,33,3,13. BC is 3-3 in last 6 on the road. Beaver Stadium is a tough place to play, especially coming off of that Wake Forest loss.
LLOKING FOR WASH. HUSKIES TO REBOUND VERSE A BAD INDIANA TEAM!! 24 IS A BIG # BUT WASH. COULD HAVE THAT COVERED IN THE 1ST HALF!! SO THE 1ST HALF LINE WILL PROBABLY BE MY HIGHER PLAY ~ BUT WILL DROP AT LEAST 2 UNITS ON THE -24 AS WELL
GL ALL ~ WILL ALSO BE WATCHING THE FLA. STATE LINE
but i`m gonna drop a couple pretzels on maryland on the money line....yep.i know i`m crazy.....but,maryland is a much better club than the garbage we saw vs n.ill....i had n.ill. on the moneyline for several reasons, first and foremost being maryland`s scheduling....
scheduling is a key....love the fact that fla st had a walkover vs no.car......
i wish suter was healthy....even more than bruce perry...but i doubt i`ll get my wish....
it`s not gonna cost me much....and i can get a substantial return on investment with some luck....
this line went from 9.5 to 14 in a relatively short period of time....
freidgen is a very, very good coach..a long shot.....but,well worth the shot....
South Carolina was pathetic in an opening night win against Lousiania-Lafyette 14-7. Defense looked like it had holes and the offense was weak both on the ground and in the air.
Even without Schaub, Virginia should roll...........................
i know with teams like notre dame the lines are usually inflated because of their popularity but only paying -5.5 to get them at home vs. a lower tier pac-10 team is value in my eyes.
my pick: notre dame (at 1st glance)
p.s. wash st. qb. matt kegel is a cousin of ryan leaf, thats enough reason!
even though i myself am not a fan of the teasers i am already in for one.
3 team teaser
-oklahoma
-auburn
-virginia
if anyone is liking the early line on oklahoma, all i can say is get in early. i see that line moving up to 9 or higher by the end of the week. the public will be on them big time.
south carolina looked terrible
and auburn will be out to prove that they are a better team than they showed this week.
respect lubick and VP but Tedford at home with entire OL back is in 3rd game; possible letdown for CSU losing at home to rival Buffs in exciting fashion, if new COL qb tossed for +400 vs rams, then Cal who rushed for +250 vs Smiss's 8 return. D starters should be able to move ball ...
North Texas is a great school, but it's no secret their offense stinks!!! Expect to see a low scoring game...13-7 sounds about right. Baylor is at the bottom of the barrel in the Big12, but they are still a Big12 school! They will be playing for pride and do not want to be the first Big conference school to go down to the lowly Sun Belt.
I am a UNT alum by the way and a huge eagle fan.......
I was about to say the same thing about Baylor. I'd like to hear Box's take on it but NT doesn't have enough O to give anyone 16 let alone a Big 12 team. Baylor should be letting down after a hard fought loss to UAB but NT has got to have some bumps and bruises leftover from Oklahoma. Actually a road game might help Baylor get away from all of the attention going on around that campus. I like NT's team and desire, but I see the Bears and 16 as a great bet.
Good luck all. "It's the most wonderful time of the year"....
